How to Style the Crescendo Pull-on Jeans!

I LOVE a good flared jean! If you have an hourglass body type, flare pants are your ideal choice, as they beautifully complement your curves. They allow you to pick from a variety of styles from high-rise flared pants to yoga flared pants. Consider a waist-hugging style like the Crescendo jeans to accentuate your vivacious curves and confidently flaunt your figure.

Beginner Friendly Pull-on Jean Pattern!

The Crescendo Jeans are a great project for someone who is just learning to sew jeans. They are drafted for denim fabric that has at least 25% stretch and come in sizes 0-32. The pattern features a wide elastic waistline and four different leg styles: Flare, Boot, Straight and Skinny. Because all bodies are made different, Love Notions has drafted this pattern with curvy and straight  sizing as well as petite, standard, and tall inseams. There are so many ways to get the perfect fit!

I made two flared versions. One in white stretch denim and one in dark blue stretch denim. I felt like those two colors would go with so many things in my wardrobe. Below are just a few ideas for styling your own flared pants.

Casual Everyday Look…

For a casual look I styled them with a simple camo, Forte top and tan shoes. I chose these shoes because they have a thicker sole that looks great with the wide hem of the pants. Just by tucking the front of the shirt in a little it can help your waist look more slender.

Slightly Less Casual…

For a slightly less casual look I can throw them on with a collared Frankie shirt and the same shoes….

I also love the way the white ones looked with  another Frankie Shirt and some thick soled Canvas lace-up shoes. Notice how changing the shoes or tucking the shirt gives a little different vibe.

Let’s Elevate it Now…

You can even throw them on with an Oakley vest. Here I wore my white ones with a white shirt but added a denim vest to elevate my look. I kept my thick soled tan shoes on but could easily add heels too if I wanted to look a bit more dressy.

This Oakley vest was an almost perfect  atch with my othe Crescendo jeans. So I paired them with a bright colored shirt. It’s giving denim jumpsuit vibes and I’m L-O-V-I-N-G it!

A Cute Cropped shirt…

A Lenox cropped top is another favorite. I love how it cuts off right at the waist giving a nice hourglas shape. Plus, I really like the look of a cropped shirt with flared pants. It’s something I woud have definitely worn in highschool but just reimagined a bit for me as a 40 year old mom. Lol!!

This Lenox pictured below is a refashion from a skirt I found. If you want to read more about it you can check out this post here.

Add Some Heels….

You can also throw on a simple white t-shirt like this Vivace that I took the pleat out of or an animal print blouse like this Hacked men’s Dockside and some high heeled  clogs for a night out.

Any way you style them is sure to be a fun experiment. How would you style your Flared Crescendo Jeans?
